My role
Using sensor technology, thoughtful design, and cutting-edge behavioural medicine, I helped digitise every aspect of best practice care into a 12-week digital care pathway.
As the UI/UX lead, I oversaw all elements of product and brand design, as well as communications.
My work supported the company through their Series B funding round, where they raised $40 million. Today, with a valuation of
$6.2 billion, they continue to rely on the core UX and UI framework
I developed.

Problem
A lack of real user data made it challenging to design
an effective and user-centred solution.
Without insights into user behaviour, needs, or pain points, the risk of creating a product that didn’t align with actual user requirements was significantly higher.
Solution
The solution focused on creating a strong feedback loop
to capture real user data, providing valuable insights into behaviours, needs, and preferences.
This approach led to increased engagement through repeat usage, building trust, and fostering growth. With these insights, we developed a data-informed Version 2 platform that was more intuitive, scalable, and aligned with user expectations.
By prioritising user feedback and continuous iteration, the platform evolved into a more engaging and impactful experience.
To innovate in this role, start with user needs and goals, then design backward to create a seamless experience. The UI should feel effortless—bold, clear, and intuitive, with a welcoming quality that’s inclusive for all users.
Behind the scenes, advanced systems handle the complexity, so users can focus on their journey without friction. Interactions should be visible and responsive, building trust through transparency. A thoughtfully chosen palette and contextual design elements will guide users, helping them navigate effectively and make informed decisions about their health and self-care.
The Approach
Assemble a team based on the skills required, not just availability, and define the project’s scope early to determine what’s needed—creative, technical, or operational. Begin with senior expertise to develop a technically accurate joint model and ensure a solid foundation. Collaborate with an illustrator to visually represent all exercises, ensuring clarity and engagement.
Create several cohort groups for testing, allowing for iterative feedback and refinement. Lead the establishment of a cohesive new design language that aligns with the project’s objectives and user needs.
A strong team thrives when engaged throughout the project lifecycle, feeling valued, challenged, and supported. This approach fosters growth, prevents burnout, and cultivates a culture of collaboration and mentorship—key to delivering impactful, long-lasting results.

Successfully delivered 1 product from ideation to market.
Spearheaded the design strategy and product roadmap during Series B, creating a clear, structured process that streamlined product development. By aligning design and technical teams, I ensured the product vision was consistently executed, enabling rapid iteration and progress. This approach was integral in securing $40 million in funding and driving the company's growth, contributing to its current valuation of $6.2 billion.
