The client
Teijin, a technology-driven global group, has been a proud partner of the Envision Racing Formula E Team since 2020. This collaboration aligns with both organizations' commitment to sustainability and innovation in electric mobility.
As part of this partnership, Teijin contributes advanced materials to enhance the performance and safety of Envision Racing's vehicles. Notably, Teijin's Tenax™ carbon fiber is utilized in the construction of the world's first two-seater Formula E racing car, contributing to its lightweight structure and energy efficiency. Additionally, Teijin's flame-retardant Teijinconex® neo meta-aramid fiber is used in the racing suits, improving safety and comfort for the drivers.
Beyond material support, Teijin actively engages in Envision Racing's "Race Against Climate Change™" initiative, participating in events and discussions focused on promoting sustainable practices and the transition to e-mobility and renewable energy.
The Approach
My role was to craft an engaging and visually impactful website that showcases Teijin's partnership with Formula E and highlights their contributions to sustainability and innovation in electric mobility.
The website presented key aspects of this collaboration, such as Teijin’s advanced materials—like Tenax™ carbon fiber for vehicles and Teijinconex® neo meta-aramid fiber for racing suits—and their involvement in the "Race Against Climate Change™" initiative.
I focused on creating a user-friendly and immersive experience, blending technical details with compelling storytelling. By incorporating bold visuals, interactive elements, and intuitive navigation, I aimed to create a platform that appeals to motorsport fans, sustainability advocates, and industry professionals alike. The goal was to effectively communicate Teijin’s vision and inspire visitors to explore their role in driving the future of sustainable mobility.
